5. Integration of services and contents of third parties

5.1 Introduction

This Website integrates third party services and content (e.g. Youtube) and offers from several social media providers (so-called plug-ins) and provides links to third-party websites (e.g. online shops).

5.2 Third party services and content

The integration of a third-party services requires that the relevant third-party provider perceives your IP address. Without an IP address, this third-party provider cannot send the content to your browser. In addition, certain of these services are only activated when they are actively selected by you. We only integrate these third-party services into our website in order to provide you with useful information or to facilitate a process. No further data processing takes place. However, we have no influence on any storage of your IP addresses by these third-party providers, namely for statistical purposes. Such processing is then the responsibility of the relevant third-party providers in accordance with their data protection provisions.

5.3 Social media plug-ins

You can usually recognize the plug-ins by the logos of the respective social media provider. The social media plug-ins are deactivated by default. As soon as you activate them (e.g. by clicking the corresponding button), the relevant social media providers can determine that you are on our Website. If you have an account with that social media provider, it can assign this information to you and thereby track your use of online offers. These social media providers process these data as separate controllers.

These social media plug-ins are used by us in order to improve the profile of our Website and to increase awareness of our Website. This constitutes a legitimate interest of us. When you visit a page of our Website that contains such a plug-in, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. We have no influence on the nature and scope of the data that the plug-in transmits to the servers of Facebook.

The plug-in informs Facebook that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our Website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to the Facebook servers and stored there. If you are logged in as a member of Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook profile. When using plug-in functions (for example, pressing the "Like" button or sharing a post), the corresponding information is also transmitted to Facebook and stored there.

Facebook may use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and tailor-made Facebook pages. For example, Facebook creates profiles regarding usage, interests and relationships to evaluate your use of our Website with regard to the advertisements displayed on your Facebook profile.

If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our Website to your Facebook profile, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our Website.
